The B286 is operated by a B208 remote control. The receiving element is one the best to have that on the market is and for Revox famous. Each of the 29 station keys can be assigned an individual name. Those assigned stationed keys intact after a separation from electricity mains.

The B286 has connections for CD Player, 2 recording equipment and an Phono entrance for magnetic systems (expandable for MC systems). The equipment is often programmable: individually switching on and maximum volume can e.g. as required for each exit be specified in the volume adapted each source.
